When we first arrived at the park the first and obvious thing you notice is the train! How cool is that?! Resisting the urge to immediately want to ride it (don't act like you wouldn't do it too ;) we made our way around looking for locations that would look beautiful in the setting sunlight.
Little did we know half the places we chose got booted out when we realized there was this nice little gazebo and bench right when you drive in.
One really special shot we captured was an image of their sweet little girl Lily with two other children. (Didn't catch their names! )
We absolutely LOVE how this is kids in a nutshell. From the miss matching socks to hello kitty. This shows the natural innocence of children. They don't care about the latest fashion, how perfect their outfit has to be, they are all about being themselves.
Oh to be a kid again! (In mind, and spirit :) When you grow up life becomes too much about what you look like and what others see. We are people pleasers. Gosh I wonder when we stopped letting go and started holding things in?
That is something I think is so beautiful about God. He wants you, all of you, as you are. Not good enough, not after you do something, and surly not when we have it all together. God desires for us to come as we are. Messed up folk' in a messed up world with a perfect heavenly father ready to scoop us up in His arms and be called His...did you guess it?
12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
